Forty Spoons Covered Bazaar

Forty Spoons Covered Bazar's real name is Kırkkaşık Bedesteni.The bazaar made in 1579 by Ramazanogulları Principality, Piri Pasha's son Ibrahim.Firstly the bazaar used as a soup kitchen and madrasah but after republic it became Covered Bazaar.And name of the bazaar came from outside.Because outside has spoon motifs.Forty Spoons Covered Bazaar has 21 rooms inside and outside has 7 cupolas.From inside you can reach 4 more room when you follow both stairs.After renovation works,the bazaar opened by ceremony in 2007.You can find in the covered bazaar,ceramics of local handicrafts,wood,copper,silver,leather,woven and touristic gift articles.
